YWAM staff members are involved in long-term missions, and desire to see specific goals reached in the overall task of world evangelism. Their ministry commitment in YWAM can range from two years to a lifetime. Since YWAM is expanding, the range of staff opportunities is as well.
In YWAM Port-Harcourt, one of the joys of joining staff is to serve side by side with people from a wide variety of nations. Our staff comes from many countries and from different Christian denominations and countries. We’re a developing a training campus. Our current staffing opportunities in YWAM Port-Harcourt:

Note that many of these opportunities are still at early development or conceptual stage. Applicants should be aware of it and come with a mind opened and prepared to face the challenges of pioneering. Applicants should ideally be self motivated, have a clear conviction of God's leading and work on a financial and spiritual support base before joining YWAM's volunteering work force. For people applying for long-term volunteering positions, a probation period of 3 months is set for the benefit of both the new staff and YWAM Port-Harcourt.
Discipleship Training School
The entry process into YWAM includes completion of a five to six month
Discipleship Training School (DTS) or Crossroads DTS, which is offered in over 200 locations around the world. Some locations require more training depending on what field of ministry you enter into.

How do I apply, or join YWAM?
You can serve with YWAM on an outreach trip, as a student, or as a staff member or volunteer. To join as staff, you must first complete a
Discipleship Training School (DTS), which is offered in YWAM Port-Harcourt and in over 200 other locations around the world.
Do YWAM staff get paid?
To join our staff, you need to have your own financial backing. Most YWAM staff meet their financial needs through financial supporters while others hold an additional paying job for financial or ministry reasons.
